MONOTYPES
Monotyping is a printmaking made by painting on a smooth acrylic glass. The image is then transferred onto a sheet of paper using a printing-press. These are made between 2010 and 2011, during my studies at A.U. in Washington DC and my artist residency in Silver Spring, Maryland. Always finished during a day, a monotype is an excellent way to catch the tension between the ordinary snapshot moment and the uncanny atmosphere.
